ioTRAN development released the exciting new ioCONNECT-UC mobile and desktop apps today.  These advanced mobile and desktop apps are the first of several releases with ever-increasing functionality. This first release will support a Dialer, 1 to 1 Video, full-featured Video Conferencing, Recording, and ioCONNECT management. ioCONNECT-UC will also support Chat, SMS, CRM, and Call Center functionality in future releases.

ioTRAN development released a full-featured Fax solution for the 7th-generation Softswitch platform called ioFAX. This feature is also available on the new ioCONNECT mobile applications for Android and iOS. This Fax solution includes:

The ioPLATFORM supports traditional physical fax machines. This can be achieved by direct T.38 communications, analog to SIP converter (ATA), or media gateway. In addition, ioFAX can support inbound faxes while outbound faxes are sent through a physical fax machine. In either scenario, there is tight integration with the ioPLATFORM billing, accounting, and taxation engine.

ioTRAN development is releasing the highly anticipated ioCONNECT mobile application for Android and iOS today.  They are available at the Google and Apple app stores. The ioCONNECT mobile app untethers our platform operator's customers from the web-based browser system portal. Everything an end-user needed to do for account management from a PC or Laptop can now be done from their smartphone. These functions include:

ioTRAN added our mobile applications development website (ioconnect.iotran.com) to accompany the new addition of current and future releases of the ioCONNECT and ioCONNECT-UC applications.

ioTRAN development announced the release of its highly anticipated "Partitions" product for the new 7th generation Softswitch platform.  With this new product, our service provider customers can rent a "Partition" from ioTRAN and utilize their carrier(s). This powerful new product is a game changer significantly reducing the CAPEX and OPEX of purchasing and maintaining a Softswitch platform. Service providers, PBX Interconnects, MSPs, IT Technology providers, and Broadband providers now have a viable alternative with ultra-reliability and scalability.

The ioTRAN development team has completed a new upgrade to the integrated Toll-Fraud system in the new 7th-generation Softswitch platform. Significant enhancements were added to provide a more granular approach to determining a possible Toll-Fraud call. This upgrade allows platform operators to customize fully and adjust functionality for their specific requirements. This integrated Toll-Fraud system is one of the most comprehensive and effective systems in the market allowing our customers to reduce the need for 3rd party systems and additional management.
